HIGH SENIOR PHOTOS IN BOISE AND BEYOND.
They are almost out the door…
let’s freeze who they are right now.
I know what you're feeling — because I have a little boy too.
The days are long and the years are fast. Senior year sneaks up on you. One moment it's backpacks and carpools, the next you're helping them order a cap and gown, wondering how did we get here so fast?
These photos are about more than senior pictures.
They're about freezing the quirks, the laughter, the in-between moments you never want to forget. They're about creating something you'll hang on your walls now — and hold even tighter years from now.
Because when your senior heads out into the world, this version of them won't come back. But their story — the light in their eyes, the way they carry themselves, who they are right now — can live on in photos.
With love & intention,

Frequently Asked Questions

Sooner than you think. Fall is my busiest season for seniors and it fills up fast — I usually recommend reaching out 2-3 months ahead (or earlier if you're eyeing a specific date, location, or one of the larger collections). Spring and summer have a little more flexibility, but the earlier you book, the more options you'll have for timing, light, location, and how we tell your senior's story.
-
I get this one a lot and I want to answer it honestly — please don't. My editing style is part of why you hired me, and adding filters (or running them through AI editors) changes the final look in ways that don't represent my work. Beyond that, editing a photographer's images is technically a copyright thing, so it's not just a preference — it's part of the agreement we sign together. If something about your gallery feels off, tell me! I'd so much rather hear from you than see your photos with an inauthentic AI Edit on Instagram. We'll make it right.

First — totally normal. Most of my seniors walk in a little nervous and walk out wondering why they were worried. I don't do stiff posing or fake smiles. We just talk, walk around, and I guide you the whole time so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. By the end, most seniors forget the camera is even there. If your senior is really dreading it, tell me ahead of time — I'll plan the session around them, not the other way around.

Honestly? Whenever feels right for your senior. Fall gets all the love (golden light, warm tones, sweater weather) but spring blooms, summer wildflowers, and even winter snow can be stunning. We'll talk through what vibe you're after and pick a season that matches.
-
Idaho weather has a mind of its own. If the forecast looks rough, I'll reach out a day or two before to talk through options — we can reschedule, shift the time, or sometimes lean into the moody vibe if you're up for it. You won't lose your spot and you won't lose your retainer. We'll figure it out together.
-
I scout every location before your session so I know exactly where the good light hits and when. I've got several spots in rotation and once you're booked, we'll talk through the best one for your senior based on outfits, their style, and the overall feel you're going for.
-
100%. Outfits change the game for your photos and I'm here for as much hand-holding as you need. I've got a full outfit guide that goes out after booking, and I'm happy to look at options, mess around with combos, and even online shop and send you direct links if you want me to do the heavy lifting. We want your senior to feel like them in these photos — and the right outfits get us there.
-
Yes! I usually budget time for a few family, sibling, or pet photos toward the end of the session — just let me know ahead of time so I can plan for it. If you want a full family session, that's a separate booking, but a few quick ones to make grandma cry (or to get the dog in there)? Always.

Great question. I used to let clients pick their favorites — but it started feeling like homework, and who needs more of that? Now I do the heavy lifting.
After your session, I handpick the best of the best — the real moments, the belly laughs, the soft in-betweens — and you'll get at least the minimum number of images in your collection, often more if the story calls for it. You stay present, I deliver the good stuff. -
I send out a sneak peek within a week and within 4 weeks later you’ll receive your full gallery. I quote 5 weeks from the session just to give breathing room, but most galleries land sooner than that.

You've got two easy options. Your gallery comes with a print release so you can print at any lab you love. Or — and this is what I recommend — you can order right from your gallery's built-in print shop, where I've curated pro-grade prints, wall art, and albums I personally trust. You get 15% off (unless your collection has a higher discount) when you order through the shop, and the quality is night-and-day compared to drugstore prints.
